My name is Julia Smiley. I’m a student at UNE. I’m from York, Maine. I’m very interested in mysteries and problem-solving. I love watching true crime and everything related to it. I’m an Undeclared major, but my interests are in studying Criminology and nutrition, as I have had my own concerns about how I should be treating my body and ways to nourish my health.
The purpose of this portfolio is to have a space where I can showcase my work. A site where I could show my future employers my strengths. I knew I wanted a higher education, but I wasn’t definite about what to study. My thoughts have ranged from education to criminology, so I decided to go with undeclared, where I can explore where I want to go with my education and my future. I’m excited to put my problem-solving into the classroom and apply my thinking to a subject I have determined I want to learn about.
